Hyperhidrosis
(Injectible Treatment for Excessive Underarm Sweating)
Sweating is a natural and normal process through which the body loses excess heat. However, some people suffer from excess sweating which can cause embarrassment and reduce confidence. Due to overactive sweat glands, they produce greater amounts of sweat than the body actually requires.
There is a simple and effective treatment using a series of tiny injections that can block the actions of the nerves that supply the sweat glands, preventing them from producing sweat.
The treated areas are usually noticeably drier after about three to four days, and can take up to two weeks to reach full effect. A single treatment can last from four to seven months on average.
It is perfectly safe to repeat the treatment regularly.
